The central challenge was keeping three instantly recognisable faces true to themselves inside bold graphic styles. Stills were developed across several image models and refined in Photoshop — noir ink, halftone posters, graphic-novel pencil, riso print and chromatic VHS. still that was then brought to life; in others the motion came first, and the band was rotoscoped and separated from the background so each layer could be animated on its own, with After Effects compositing adding depth while keeping every performance readable. Sébastien's rough cuts kept every section in step with the edit.ZEDZARA's sections carry the film's textured, gritty comic-book register: halftone grain, cross-hatched ink, splatter and aged paper. The original plan let colour gradually bleed into the drawings; the final film stays largely monochrome until its tactile, collage-driven finale. Onyx's "MF Hip Hop", heavy, gritty, shouted from a New York stoop, dictated everything that followed: what the world looks like, how it moves and who lives in it. the track's weight became the camera, pressed low to the asphalt and bent through a fisheye lens. its grit became the image itself: monochrome, grain, damp concrete and overcast streets. and its swagger became the people: figures with exaggerated proportions, oversized hands and boots, baggy denim collapsing over heavy soles, bodies that tower over the lens the way the beat towers over the room. nothing in the frame is decorative; every element is there because the music asked for it.the world was built in Midjourney, with GPT Image as an unexpected collaborator: together they pushed the characters' proportions further than either could alone, until every figure carried the same attitude as the track. subway cars, deli corners, skateboards, a pack of BMX riders, a hand trailing out of a car window. fragments of a city seen from the curb up.motion was the real test. video models are trained on how bodies normally move, and they resist anything else: a few frames in, they quietly correct the anatomy, shrinking hands and boots and pulling the bodies back to balance. shot after shot drifted toward average, until Seedance 1.0 held the exaggeration from the first frame to the last. The focus is on shaping mood, rhythm and visual intention through tightly controlled prompts, pacing and repetition. Distortion, pixel shift and instability are used as a visual language, moving between clarity and abstraction, control and tension. Beyond experimentation, the work is about authorship. AI is used to choreograph images, camera behavior and presence, not to generate ideas but to direct them. Scenes function like fragments of a larger editorial narrative, connected by tone, texture and restraint rather than explanation. The emotional core of the piece is shaped by the music Roman d’Amour by Alastair Lane and Sarah Degny. The track sets the soul of the work, guiding its sense of intimacy, longing and quiet intensity, and informs the pacing and visual decisions throughout. This direction reflects a growing interest in editorial and film driven motion, where visuals are intentional, minimal and emotionally weighted. 2026the Körszálló, Budapest's round hotel, stood above Városmajor from 1967: an 18 storey concrete cylinder raised around a central core, loved and teased as the "soft drink can". it is now being rebuilt as Marriott Residences Budapest. for a documentary about the rebuild, the task was to show something no camera could film yet: the new tower rising from the construction pit to its finished form, in ten seconds.one static camera, golden hour light and film grain, clouds racing across the sky to mark the passing months, everyday traffic below. beside the building, a timeline graphic counts through the construction schedule, designed in the Marriott Residences brand language and timed to the build.ai &amp; motion: ZEDZARAtools: Higgsfield, Nano Banana Pro, Seedream 5.0 Pro, GPT Image, Seedance 2.5, After Effects the starting pointthe client's final architectural render set the end state, and their six step schedule became the timeline graphic. the render was reframed to a
